Art speaks by various means. Color and form are two of the most dynamic elements in which it communicates. The language of color and form are parts of the visual components that enable the artist to create the mood or atmosphere of a work of art.  The relationship between color and form work together to create a harmonious whole with each element serving to enhance the other. I work in an abstract expressionistic manner using acrylic paint, stucco patch, sand, and sawdust particles. Part of my process is pouring paint on a flat surface which is then dispersed with water via a garden hose. After the initial surface has dried, I paint in and through the resulting surface.
